I am offering a DVD containing the Premier Episode of "Hot Hero Sandwich" which originally aired on NBC in November 17th 1979.
Interviewed on this episode were Leonard Nimoy, Loretta Lynn & Richard Pryor.
Joe Jackson is the musical guest.
After a 3 year delay i was able to buy a new Super Beta deck to continue my own beta archival project and Hot Hero was one of the 1st tapes i started working on.
Equipment used for the conversion are as follows:

Canopus Edius 2 Editing Software
Canopus Procoder 2 Software

There is some jitters for the first 10 minutes but it's pretty good for a 30 year old tv broadcast.

ReplyDeleteOh man, I'm sure full episodes are long destroyed/lost but *I* was in a segment when the producers & camera ppl showed up at my summer camp in '79 to tape a segment called "I Love My Shirt" (I think a takeoff of the Donovan song)
